Story
July 4th weekend 2026 we headed to Indy and stayed in an Airbnb downtown. Main daytime event: the Children's Museum with our friends Paula and Katie. The kids loved basically everything in there. There was also a Peru exhibit that instantly put Peru on our future travel list.
That night we went out for fireworks... and then a massive rainstorm rolled in. Cue the full family sprint back to the Airbnb, trying not to get completely soaked. Once we made it upstairs, we got a great show from the balcony.
